It sucks that Konami has seemingly abandoned Castlevania as a game series, but who knows what the future holds? The Netflix series success, the TG16 mini sellout (Rondo being a large part of this), the huge amount of money Bloodstained generated. So many good games that are still super fun to play. What it all boils down to is that Castlevania had one hell of a run. I've even seen a few people say it's their favorite game in the franchise now.
